Meet Dr. Kang

Dr. Jean Kang graduated from Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1997.  She completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia before enrolling in the postdoctoral endodontics program at the University of Pennsylvania.  While at Penn, Dr. Kang gained expertise in both conventional and surgical endodontics, including the use of an operating microscope to enhance the quality of treatments.


Dr. Kang was an instructor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Microscope Training Center which provides Continuing Education to other dentists on the use of operating microscopes. She is currently a clinical instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and teaches endodontic residents and dental students. She has been practicing in central New Jersey since 2000 and is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association. Dr. Kang has been voted Top New Dentist/Endodontist every year by her peers since 2012.


Prior to becoming a member of the dental community, she was educated at Carnegie Mellon University as a materials scientist and worked as an engineer for a Fortune 500 company.


Dr. Kang is committed to providing the highest quality care to each patient with compassion. She practices evidence-based dentistry to ensure a predictable and consistently high level of success. 


Dr. Kang strongly believes that the true measure of a successful endodontic practice is long-term satisfaction of patients and referring dentists alike.
